Renewables and levies based on grid fees

Subsidies under the Renewable Energy Act (EEG) and levies based on grid fees are important financing instruments that make a key contribution to a successful energy transition. The EEG sets the principal course in energy law for an accelerated expansion of renewables. The grid fee-based levies represent the distribution of costs incurred by the demand for sustainable and greenhouse gas-neutral energy, the construction and operation of offshore connection lines and the privileged treatment of energy-intensive companies.
